Bad Mommy

Sometimes I feel like a really bad mom. Like the times I yell at my children, or the times I'm not able to give them what I think they need (not talking material things). Take the past three days - Austin has been home from school and I haven't been there to take care of him. Now Drew has a fever and I'm not there. (Although I did get up with him at 4:30 this am) After having been home and there to take care of every boo-boo for the past two + years it is very hard for me to be away. I believe Mommy guilt is what this is called.

I do get to go home and snuggle my boys after lab is over at 12 today. It's these SuperMom genes (as Tony calls them) that allow me to do that and not get sick. =)

it may be hard for your boys to understand, but you are helping them even when you're not there! and i am super impressed by your SuperMom ability!

It is hard, but just keep doing what is best for you and your family and know in your heart it's what's right for you and you'll be fine. You just have to remind yourself that what you are doing is beneficial to you and them. You are a SUPERMOM!! And I appreciate the fact that I can have you to look up to! LoVe YoU!
PS~I hope all get better very soon!

there is mommy guilt either way :( you are at a point where you can be a good mommy and role model for your children and contribute in multiple ways to the world. love and hugs.
